Order:
              As per the recommendations of the Committee on Establishment of Education City, during a meeting held on 5th  December 2015, at o/o Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Government hereby constitute a Sub-committee for preparation of a report pertaining to best practices for establishment of Education City / Hubs in Andhra Pradesh State, with the following members:

1.	Prof. Y. Narasimhulu, Vice-Chancellor, Rayalaseema University	Member
2.	Prof. V.S.S. Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, JNTU Kakinada	Member
3.	Prof. K. Rajagopal, Vice-Chancellor, Sri Krishnadevaraya University	Member
4.	Dr. R. David Kumar, Academic Guidance Officer, o/o Collegiate Education	Convener

I)  The  Sub-committee  will  discuss,  analyse  and  recommend  on  the  various aspects of establishing Education City in Andhra Pradesh.

II) The   Sub-committee   will   get   consultations   from   domain   experts   with experience in establishment/ running of institutions of reputation in Higher Education, and may incorporate their suggestions in the report

III) The Sub-committee will study the existing models of Education Cities and recommend best practices to be adopted for AP Education City

IV)  The Sub-committee will recommend policy for

a.  Land Allotment (in due consultation with Joint Secretary, o/o CCLA)

b.  Financing/ development on PPP mode (in consultation with Assistant Secretary, Finance)

c. Developing  common  facilities  like  schools,  hospitals,  public transportation and  communication, etc. (in consultation with Commissioner, School Education)

d.  Planning proposed layout for Silicon hub, R&D hub, Sports Centre, Incubation centre, Placement Centre, etc. (in consultation with Advisor, IT Department)

V)     The Sub-committee shall submit their report by 25th December 2015.
