Sri Venkateswara University(SVU) issued the Andhra Pradesh State Education Common Entrance Test(AP Ed.CET 2020) on March 2020 and invited online applications from the eligible candidates for admission into Two years B.Ed regular course in the Colleges of Education in AP State for the academic year 2020-2022 . 1) Mode of exam: Offline mode
2) Duration: 2 Hours
3) Total no. of questions: 150 questions
4) Total marks: 150 marks
5) Each question carries 1 mark.
6) No negative marking
7) Part-A will be General English and Part-B will be General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude.
8) Candidate must choose a subject for Part-C of question paper from mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences, social studies, English subjects.


How to download AP EdCET Hall ticket 2020:
1.First Login into the official website http://sche.ap.gov.in/HomePages/EDCET.aspx
2. Click on the "Download Hall ticket" link, then new page appear on the screen.
3. Enter to the details of "Registration Number" and "Date of Birth"
4. Now click the button "Get Hall ticket".
4. If the Entries are correct , candidate hall ticket will be displayed.
5. Save it and download and take a printout.

6. Candidates should keep their hall tickets while going to the examination hall and should preserve the hall tickets till the time of admissions.
AP EdCET 2020 Examination would be conducted on 05-08-2020 from 11 pm to 1-00 pm

MEDIUM OF ENTRANCE TEST

The question paper will be in English and Telugu except for English methodology. However, candidates opting to write the Entrance Test in Urdu medium will be served with Urdu paper and such candidates shall opt Kurnool as Test Centre.

 CENTRES OF ENTRANCE TEST

The Common Entrance Test will be held at the following Centres. 

Anantapuramu, Chittoor, Tirupathi, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal, Nellore, Ongole, Guntur, Vijayawada, Bhimavaram, Kakinada, Rajamahendravaram, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam 

 QUALIFYING MARKS:

The qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) are 37 out of total marks (i.e. 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences / Mathematics methodologies. 

 RESULTS: RANKING: Candidates will be ranked in each methodology in the order of merit on

the basis of marks obtained in APEd.CET -2020 examination. Where there is a tie in total marks, Part-C marks will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In case of further tie, the marks obtained in Part-A will be taken into account to decide relative ranking.

In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the parts of the test paper, they shall be bracketed for the purpose of award of rank. At the time of admission into the course, age shall be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates and the older candidates shall be given priority. The rank obtained in AP Ed.CET-2020 is valid for entry into B.Ed. course for the

academic year 2020-2022 only
