APPSC Screening Test for Group II and Group III Exams in Andhra Pradesh- GO.150. AP Govt has given permission to APPSC/ A.P. Public Service Commission to hold Screening Test for Group-II and Group-III Services, depending on number of applicants and to hold multi-session and multiple question paper screening test whenever number of examinees exceeds 25,000 in all recruitment tests, conducted by A.P. Public Service Commission including Group- II and Group-III services.

2. In the reference fourth read above the Principal Secretary, A.P. Public Service Commission has informed that this Recruitment is being done after a long gap of 5 years and the candidature for these recruitment examinations is expected to be very large, running into a few lakhs as such, to ensure that quality in recruitment process and to achieve qualitative selections it is advisable to have screening test for Group-II and Group-III Services. The Principal Secretary, A.P. Public Service Commission has further informed Government in reference third has permitted Computer Based Test for all Recruitments. He has informed that due to the limitations on availability of IT infrastructure and their quality, the Computer Based Test for Recruitments are being conducted in multi-session and multiple question papers mode by various national agencies such as Railway Recruitment Board, Institute of Banking Personnel etc.
3. In view of the above the Principal Secretary, A.P. Public Service Commission Government has requested to accord permission:
a) To hold Screening Test for Group-II and Group-III Services, depending on number of applicants.
b) To hold multi-session and multiple question paper screening exam whenever number of examinees exceeds 25,000 in all recruitment tests conducted by A.P. Public Service Commission.
4. After careful examination of the proposal of the Principal Secretary, A.P. Public Service Commission the Government hereby accords permission to A.P. Public Service Commission as follows.

In the reference second read above orders were issued according permission to fill in 10,000 vacant posts in different categories by direct recruitment of which, 4,009 vacant posts are under the purview of A.P Public Service Commission and 5,991 vacant posts under the purview of A.P State Level Police Recruitment Board.2. In the reference fourth read above the Principal Secretary, A.P.
