A Common Entrance Test designated as Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TSPECET -  2020) will be conducted by Osmania University for the academic year  2020-2020 for seeking Admission into B.P.Ed.(2 Years) and D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Courses. The Application form is for Common Entrance Test for the entry into the Physical Education courses. Osmania University has issued the TSPECET  2020 /Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test  2020 notification on the 13-03- 2020 and the online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into BPEd and UG PED/D.P.Ed courses offered by the Universities and affiliated colleges in the Telangana state for the academic year  2020-2021. The qualified candidates of TS PECET-2020 who have not attended for certificate verification earlier shall get their certificates verified at Helpline Center - Director of PG Admissions, Kakatiya University, Warangal.

    Candidates are required to pay Processing fee of Rs.300/- for  SC/ST and Rs. 500/ for others.

Required Documents:

The candidates should submit the following Original Documents and also one set of Xerox copies at the time of web counseling for verification. All the Original certificates will be verified and the originals will be returned to the candidates. The candidates who got the allotment of seat should submit the originals to the colleges at the time of admissions

1.  TS PECET–2020 Rank Card and Hall Ticket.

2. Degree / Intermediate or its equivalent pass certificate & Memorandum of Marks
3. Memo of SSC or its equivalent
4. Study Certificate giving the details of past seven years of study
5. Residence certificate for Preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e., Graduation in  respect  of  candidates  who  have  private  study  without  any institutionalized education
6. Integrated  community  certificate  issued  by  the  competent  authority  in  case  of
BC/SC/ST candidates
7. Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in T.S. excluding the period of  their  employment  outside  T.S. from  M.R.O in case  of Non  local candidates.
8. Transfer Certificate
9. Income Certificate as per the G.O. and rules in force.
10. One set of Xerox copies of all certificates.
11. In case of candidates seeking admission under SC, ST or BC Category, they have to submit  an  integrated  community  certificate prescribed by the Government and issued by the revenue authorities in the Government (Vide G.O.Ms.No.58, Social Welfare (J) Dept., Dt: 12-5-1997).
12. Candidates seeking the admission under CAP category should submit a certificate from the concerned Zilla Sianik Welfare officer in the prescribed proforma, along with original military discharge certificate, Identity card and pension certificate in case of pensioner.   In case of children of serving armed forces personnel, they should produce a certificate issued by the commanding officer.
13. Candidates seeking the admission under NCC category should submit N.C.C Certificate issued by the appropriate authority.
     The candidates who got the allotment of seat should submit the originals to the colleges at the time of admissions.

The Qualified candidates of TS PECET 2020 for admission into UGDPEd., BPEd course in Telangana State are informed that the certificate verification in Helpline centers will commence on 19th July, 2020. Eligibility criteria for Admission:

TELANGANA STATE COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION : : HYDERABAD
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
The Eligibility criteria for Admission into colleges of Physical Education shall be as mentioned below:
(i) Candidate should be of Indian Nationality
(ii) Candidate should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulation of Admission order 1974 as subsequently amended.
(iii) The candidate should have secured a rank at the common entrance test and satisfy other conditions laid down in these rules.

(a) For Bachelor of Physical Education Course (B.P.Ed): Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed three-year Bachelor degree examination in any faculty or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Universities in Telangana State or any other Universities
Age Limit: Candidate sould have completed 19 years of age on 01-07-2020. There is no upper age limit.

(b) For Diploma In physical Education course (D.P.Ed): Educational Qualification: 
Candidates should have passed two-year Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Telangana State.
Age Limit: Candidate should have completed 16 years of age on 01.07.2020. There is no upper age limit

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:
1. Applicants should attend the web based counseling as per the schedule given

2. All the qualified eligible candidates are called for certificate verification and web counseling.
3. The  candidates  have  to  appear  for  web  based  counseling  at  their  own expenses with all original certificates.
4. Candidates who fail to appear for web based counseling will not get any further intimation from the office of the Convener.

Second Phase counseling: 
After completion of the first phase admissions, if there is any vacancy, the second phase web based counseling will be conducted.  The candidates who received the PIN number can exercise web options directly through any internet center or through Helpline Centers. The detailed procedure, vacancy position, for second phase will be placed in the website.
