TS EAMCET 2020 Notification:
Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test-2020 (TS EAMCET-2020) will be conducted (as per G.O. Ms.No. 73 Higher Education EC.2 Dept., Dt: 28-07-2011, G.O.Ms.No.33 of Higher Education (TE/A2) Department dated 31-12-2014) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) for entry into the first year of the following Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2020-21 in the Universities & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for TS EAMCET-2020:
Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS EAMCET-2020:
a) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
b) Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non–local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
c) For BE / B.Tech in Engineering, Bio- Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Technology (FT)) Courses:
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the
Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or
courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final
year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as
optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course.

Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the D ploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / A.P.
(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern except for B. Pharmacy course (G.O.Ms.No.18,Higher Education(TE/A2) Dept.,Dt:27-07-2019)
Age:
A) In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
B) In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Technology), Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.
For B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture/ B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FT) Courses:
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course details given in detailed notification.
For B.Pharmacy Course: (Remaining 50% of the seats):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
(ii) Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.
For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training.
(ii) Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
EAMCET 2020 Exam Pattern:
The EAMCET-2020 Exam pattern is same as last year.
1.Engineering:
Exam Pattern: For Engineering
Mathematics: 80 marks
Physics: 40 marks
Chemistry: 40 marks
Total: 160 marks
Duration: 3 hours
EAMCET exam will be conducted separately for Engineering, Agricuture and medical admissions.
Ranks will be decided according to the marks secured in inter and EAMCET. 25% - Inter, 75% - EAMCET. In this test qualifying marks are 25% but this will not applicable for SC, ST Students.

1) TS EAMCET-2020 will be held in 20 Test Zones spread in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It consists of 5 Test Zones in Hyderabad, 11 Test Zones in rest of Telangana and 4 Test Zones in Andhra Pradesh. Further details are given below.
(2) During the submission of TS EAMCET-2020 Online Application Form, the candidate can select the required TEST ZONE of his choice and once chosen, any request for change of TEST ZONE will not be entertained.
(3) The Convener reserves the right to add or delete some TEST ZONES.
(4) The Convener reserves the right to allot the candidates to any TEST ZONE other than the one opted by the candidates, due to any technical reason.
(5) Candidate cannot submit more than one Application either for ‘E’ or ‘AM’ or ‘E & AM’ category. If any candidate submits more than one Application for one category, the Convener reserves the right to accept any one of them or reject all the Applications.

1. Which documents should a candidate carry to the TS EAMCET-2020 test center?
Ans. Hall ticket, Printout of Filled in Online Application form by pasting Photo and getting it
attested by Principal of the college last studied/any Gazetted Officer and Photo copy
of caste certificate.
2. What is the examination duration and timings?
Ans. Exam Duration: 3 Hours (mandatory)
Exam Timings: FN Session: 10.00 AM to 1:00 PM
AN session: 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM
3. What is the reporting time for the TS EAMCET-2020?
Ans. Candidates will be permitted to TS EAMCET- 2020 Test center at least two hours before the
commencement of the test. Candidates will not be allowed into the Test center even if they
are late by one minute after the commencement of the test.
4. Where can candidate find the seating details?
Ans. Candidate can find the seating details on notice board at the exam center. Invigilators will
also be available to guide the students to their respective computer labs.
5. Where will Student biometrics be taken?
Ans. After the verification of documents at the entrance of TS EAMCET-2020 Test center,
students will be guided toward biometrics capturing facility.
Examiners will take both Photograph and Right Hand Thumb scan of the student as
part of biometrics capturing.
6. When and where will I get my Login credentials to the Computer Based Test?
Ans. Login ID and Password will be announced 10 minutes before the commencement of
the examination in the Test center.
7. Can I see my question paper in Telugu language also?
Ans. Question paper is bilingual. Student can see the question in both English and Telugu
languages. Irrespective of language selection, (i.e English or Telugu or Urdu) Question
Paper will be displayed to the student in both English and Telugu (or) English and
Urdu. In this case, English language question will be treated as Master copy.
8. Is there any negative mark for wrong answer in TS EAMCET-2020?
Ans. There are NO negative marks for wrong answers.
9. Can I increase my question font size during the examination?
Ans. Yes, Question font size can be increased / decreased using [Zoom In (+) / Zoom Out (-)]
buttons at the top right of the screen.
10. Can I change my options once I select and save an answer?
Ans. Yes, candidate can change the option selected at any point of time during the test by
simply clicking on another option and saving it.
11. How can I know whether my answer is saved or not?
Ans. After selecting an option and Clicking “Save & Next” button, that respective question
number will turn into Green Color in the Question Palette located on the right hand
side of the computer screen.
12. Which questions will be considered for evaluation?
Ans. ONLY Questions for which answers are saved (displayed in green ) or marked for review
after answering (displayed in purple ) will be considered for evaluation.
13. Can I track my time during examination?
Ans. Timer in the top right corner will display the time left for test closure for your
convenience.
14. Can I switch to other subject or question in between the examination?
Ans. Candidate can change the subject (section) or question number within a subject by
clicking on the respective subject name, anytime within the duration of the test.
15. Can I see the entire question paper in a single go?
Ans. Yes, Click on Question Paper button for complete view of question paper along with
options situated at the top right corner of the computer screen.
(Note: Candidate cannot answer any question in this view)
16. What shall I do if there is any problem with my computer during the examination
Ans. If you face any problem with your computer, please do not panic. Just report the issue
to your invigilator by raising your hand. You will be given another system. Your timer
will restart at the same point and you will not be losing any time. Also, all the
questions answered / marked for review will remain the same in the new system. In
other words, you are not going to lose any time or miss any question which you have
answered / marked for review. So there is absolutely no reason to be panic.
17. Am I allowed to carry calculator?
Ans. No. Calculators are not allowed. You need to strictly adhere to the instructions
mentioned in your TS EAMCET- 2020 Hall ticket and Instructions provided in the
website.
18. Do I need to be an expert in computer operations to take a computer based test?
Ans. No. All you need to know is Mouse Click for selecting your option and navigation. You
do not need to know any other operation. We recommend you to practice the mock
test link provided in TS EAMCET- 2020 website. It is available all the time.

Candidates appearing for TS EAMCET-2020 examination will NOT BE ALLOWED into the
examination center even if they are late by 1 minute. In view of such unwarranted
situation, the candidates are advised to reach the Test Centre at least one hour in
advance.
