School Education Dept of Andhra Pradesh issued certain instructions regarding Half Day Schools according to School Academic Calendar 2017-18 . Vide Rc No 169 dated 14.03.2018 officials communicated that schools should be run half a day w.e.f 12.03.2018 in all schools of Andhra Pradesh. AP RC 169 Half Day Summer Schools from 12th March 2018 and Time Table , AP Morning School Timings Half day School Timings AP Summer schools will be starts from 15/03/2019. Summer School Academic Calendar 2019 . Hence, In order to ensure health and safety of Students, Teachers, etc., It is decided to advance the Half Day Schools to 3days prior ie. from 15/03/2019

Read:- Govt. Memo No. ESE01-SEDNOCSE/287/2019, dated: 14-3-2019
In view of the Instructions issued by the Govt. vide reference read above the Commissioner of School Education, A.P.. Amaravati is hereby declared half-a-day schools from 15-3-2019 up to lost working day of the academic year 2018-19 as per School Academic Calendar-2018-19 to all Govt. Management Schools ie... Govt. MP, ZP, Muncipal, Aided in ihe State as yearly tradition.
Further, the District Educational Officers are requested to issue necessary instructions to the Pvt. Management schools to conduct schools for the said period as decided by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the respective school.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers are requested to toke necessary action accordingly without any deviation in the matter.
This has the approval of the Commissioner of School Education, A.P.. Amaravati.
