TS DIETCET - Online TS DEECET 2020 Notification for D.Ed Course Admissions / TS DEECET 2020 Notification for D.El.d Course Admissions, TS DIETCET 2020 Schedule: School Education Department, Telangana has released the notification for the Telangana DEECET 2020 for the academic year 2020-2022 and DSE Telangana inviting the online applications from the eligible candidates for admission into 2(Two year) D.Ed (DEld) Courses in District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) and Private D.Ed Colleges through Common Entrance Test (DEECET) 2020.

Fee and submission of Application Online:
The fee prescribed for appearing for DEECET pay Rs. 413/-. Candidates can pay the fee through AP Online / e-Seva centers or through Payment Gateway and submit online application at the TS DEECET official website http://tsdeecet.cgg.gov.in as per deecet schedule.
How to Apply/ Procedure For Applying Online:
i. The candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the website http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for DEECET, 2020.
ii. The candidate after satisfying herself/himself about the eligibility criteria for DEECET, 2020 shall pay a fee of Rs.450/- through TSONLINE . At the DEECET website Centers, the candidate has to give the required preliminary data (i.e. Name of the candidate, Date of birth, Gender and mobile phone number). On receipt of fee at DEECET, 2020 website the candidate shall be issued a ‘Payment Reference ID’ with which she/he can proceed with submission of application online. Issue of Payment Reference ID does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.
iii. The candidates shall follow the procedure of submission of online application as given in the ‘Information Bulletin’ and also as per the instructions provided online while filling up the online application form. The Candidate should be ready with photograph of size upto 50kb and candidate signature upto 30kb before filling in on-line application.’

Method of conduct of TSDEECET 2020
TSDEECET 2020 shall be conducted ‘ONLINE’. Detailed procedure shall be hosted on the TSDEECET website http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in
Scheme of Entrance Test:
Part I:
1. General Knowledge - 5 Questions - 5 Marks
2. Teaching Aptitude Test - 5 Questions - 5 Marks
Part II:
1. General English - 10 Questions - 10 Marks
2. Telugu/Urdu/Tamil - 20 Questions - 20 Marks
Part III:
1. Mathematics - 20 Questions - 20 Marks
2. Physical Sciences - 10 Questions - 10 Marks
3. Biological Sciences - 10 Questions - 10 Marks
4. Social Studies - 20 Questions - 20 Marks
Total: 100 Questions = 100 Marks
Syllabus:
1. The subject and syllabi of the test shall be of the standard of Classes VIII to X of A.P. State Syllabus for Part-II and Part III of the test.
2. The medium of Entrance Test: Question paper shall be in Telugu/English or Urdu/English and Tamil/English only.
Date and Timings of entrance test:
DEECET will be conducted as per given schedule in all the Districts of the State.
Examination Centers for entrance test:
DEECET shall be conducted in all the Districts of the State. Candidate can choose any District of his choice for examination center. However, when the capacity of any particular District gets exhausted that particular District will not be displayed in the list of examination centers given in the online application form. In such case the candidate has to choose another District of his/her choice from the remaining list available for examination centre.

ELIGIBILITY
(1).The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the DEECET Committee for appearing at the DEECET. However, she / he should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
(2).The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing at the DEECET. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45%.As per G.O.Ms.No 10 Education dated 12.04.2017 the candidates who passed Intermediate examination with vocational course(s) are not eligible .However in view of the orders of the Honorable High Court of Telangana in IA No.1 of 2019 in WP.No.6482/2019 the candidate who have passed Intermediate with vocational course(s) shall be allowed to sit in the DEECET-2020 provisionally , but they cannot claim any equity in their favour. Moreover the result of examination of such candidates shall be subject to the decision of the Honorable High Court in WP.No.6482/2019.
