TS G.O.Rt.No.1611. Declaration of general holiday on 17.08.2018 as a mark of respect to  former Prime Minister of India Shree ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE who passed away on 16.08.2018.
Hence today  (17.08.2018) shall be a general  Holiday to all schools and offices in Telangana state.

HOLIDAYS – Declaration of General Holiday on 17.08.2018 (Friday) as a mark of respect to former Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away today i.e., on 16.08.2018 (Thursday)  – Notification – Issued.

The following Notification shall be published in the next issue of Telangana State Extra-Ordinary Gazette.

NOTIFICATION
The Government hereby declare that 17.08.2018 (Friday) shall be a General  Holiday to all the Government Offices/Schools/Colleges/Institutions in the State, as a mark of respect in view of the State Funeral at New Delhi on 17.08.2018 (Friday)  of former Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away today i.e., on 16.08.2018 (Thursaday) at New Delhi.
